Here’s an Internet inspired poem especially for the people of the world wide web this Christmas:
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the web,
Not a user was posting, not even a celebThe presents were photographed and ready to share,
In hopes that followers would re-tweet out thereWhen out on the forums there arose such a chatter,
I flicked on my phone to see what was the matterAs I scrolled down the stream, a new avatar appeared,
With a red woollen hat and a white bushy beardAnd I saw him exclaim, ere I logged off for the night,
“A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!”
